Artigiano Caffe Howe Assistant Store Manager NOC 62020 Job Description The position assists the Caffe Manager in managing all aspects of the caffes operation to ensure that excellent quality standards on products, employees, orderliness and cleanliness of the store are consistently observed with the overall objective of delivering great customer experience. The Assistant Manager also assists in sustaining and increasing sales growth and profit levels. Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities but are limited to the following: - Acts with integrity, honesty and demonstrates the knowledge of the Artigiano culture, values and mission. - Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly scanning and assessing the environment and customers even for their unarticulated needs. - Executes store operations effectively during scheduled shift. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned. - Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages in accordance with the standard recipes or customized for customers, including needed recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of supplies, ingredients or substituted ingredients. - Order ingredients and supplies required for recipe preparation - Establish work schedules and procedures - Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage - Creates a good learning environment by providing coaching and timely feedback to colleagues and staff to ensure operational excellence and improve staff performance. - Develops positive and productive relationships with the team by understanding and respecting their individual needs and concerns and their motivations. - Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and work environments. - Utilizes operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift. Employment Requirements - Secondary education required - At least one year experience in Cafe store supervision or management - Able to maintains regular and consistent punctual attendance. - Makes self available to work on scheduled flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays. - Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers. - Meets required dress code.
