Job Summary The Furniture Bank Administrator will be responsible for supporting the operations of Gateway Furniture Bank. This role includes a variety of administrative, customer service, and physical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of furniture requests, donations, and deliveries. The administrator will work closely with the Finance Coordinator to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure efficient delivery and pickup of furniture. Responsibilities Intake Processing and completing furniture requests Managing furniture donations and coordinating monthly delivery runs Overseeing donation pick-ups Ensuring accurate tracking of inventory and furniture distribution Customer Service Answering phone calls, emails, and all other requests/inquiries for Gateway Furniture Bank (donations, furniture requests, etc.) Marketing extra furniture items to the community when necessary Providing excellent customer service while coordinating with donors and recipients Administrative Managing the Furniture Tracker system and maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and other tracking tools Keeping inventory up to date and ensure accurate data entry for all furniture transactions Issuing donation receipts when required Loading/Unloading and Driving Assisting with lifting furniture into and out of the company van or U-Haul Coordinating rentals for U-Haul vehicles Driving company van for furniture donation pickups and deliveries when required Requirements High school diploma Reliable transportation Valid G drivers license with $2 million liability insurance Must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible to drive the company vehicle Availability to work: days, evening, and weekends Ability to handle multiple tasks at once Ability to work under minimal supervision when required Excellent communication skills (written and verbal emails and phone calls) Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50-80 lbs.)
