Duties As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly with dementia. Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences while ensuring a clean and safe environment. Assisting with mobility and physical activities to promote independence. Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client health or behavior to the healthcare professional. Taking Client to either Gym, Library etc. for an hour once a day. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, especially in home care settings. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and basic medical terminology. Familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Ability to work independently demonstrating empathy and patience at all times. Certification as a Health Care Aide, valid Class 5 Drivers License, Police Clearance.
