Location: 4204 W 11th Ave, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6R 2L7 Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (Negotiable) Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week Start Date: As soon as possible Job Summary We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Child Caregiver to provide high-quality childcare in a private home setting. The ideal candidate should be able to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development. This is a non-live-in (non-resident) position, meaning the caregiver will not be required to reside in the employers home. Key Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in the employer''s home Assist children with daily routines, including dressing, bathing, and feeding Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks Organize and participate in educational and recreational activities such as reading, games, and outdoor play Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development Maintain a clean and safe environment for children Assist with light household duties related to childcare, such as cleaning play areas and doing children''s laundry Monitor children''s behavior and discipline according to parental guidelines Keep records of childrens activities, health information, and progress Accompany children to school, activities, or appointments if required Job Requirements Education: Completion of secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent Experience: Previous experience in childcare is an asset but not required Training in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is a plus Language: Proficiency in English is required (CLB 4 or above preferred) Work Conditions & Benefits Non-smoking, scent-free work environment Flexible working hours (Day, evening, and weekends may be required) Health benefits (If applicable) Paid time off for personal days or volunteering
