Job Title: Injection Blow Molding Technician Location: Oakville Job Summary: QPC Pack, a leading manufacturer of plastic thermoformed packaging, trays, PET bottles, and clamshells, is seeking a skilled Injection Blow Molding Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection blow molding machinery to produce high-quality PET bottles, plastic cups, and various other packaging products for industries including food, pharmaceuticals, industrial, and agricultural sectors. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor injection blow molding (IBM) machines to manufacture PET bottles, plastic cups, and other packaging products. Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal product quality and minimize material waste. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to prevent downtime. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards. Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations. Document production data, machine performance, and any defects or issues encountered. Assist in tooling changes, setup adjustments, and machine calibration as required. Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and product quality. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in injection blow molding or a related manufacturing environment. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of injection blow molding machinery, troubleshooting, and material properties (especially PET and plastic resins). Attention to Detail: Ability to detect defects and ensure quality control. Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency in machine operation, adjustments, and minor repairs. Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with production and quality teams. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours, lift materials, and work in a manufacturing setting.
