Our Calgary location is currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Delivery Boom Truck Driver. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle and the transportation of building materials to commercial job or residential. Qualifications Class 1 or 3 License. Minimum three years experience. High school diploma Physically fit, and able to lift more than 100 lbs Frequently climbing up and down stairs Experience in the construction industry is an asset Duties & Responsibilities: Perform circle-checks and complete logbook entries Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and servicing Verify load security and accuracy Report all accidents or injuries Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and other trades on job sites Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise Prepare trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as needed Transport loads safely following the rules of the road and representing the company to the highest standards Deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures Other duties as assigned by management Compensation This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. The base hourly wage is between $25- $30 per hour; the rate is dependent on licenses and skill level with room for growth.
