Overview Our client is a major maintenance and installations contractor for manufacturing and processing industries. We are supporting thier growth in major Saskatchewan markets by leading the search for a skilled Lead Instrumentation Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting various instrumentation and control systems. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their operations, requiring both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be located in the Weyburn, Regina, Estevan area. Duties Maintain and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure optimal performance of equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems. Work collaboratively with industrial electricians to diagnose and resolve electrical issues. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations. Conduct low voltage wiring tasks as needed for system upgrades or repairs. Detect malfunctions or irregularities in instrumentation systems and implement corrective actions promptly. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding technical issues. Skills Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and principles. Proficiency in maintaining logic controllers and related instrumentation equipment. Familiarity with electrical systems, low voltage applications, and schematics interpretation. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly. Strong communication skills to provide effective customer service and support within the team. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Requirements Completion of Apprentice or Diploma Program Must have received Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician Ticket 5+ Years working experience as a Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician Proven Project Management skills Valid Drivers License with a Clean Drivers Abstract Clean Criminal Background The ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test
