Northern Computer is searching for a Sales Director who is a proven sales leader with a track record for putting the customer first.The Role:Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Director is accountable for leading the sales team and implementing the sales strategy to achieve revenue goals. This individual will nurture and grow existing customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and understand what it takes to be successful within a complex sales cycle with multiple stakeholders. The Sales Director will have a proven track record working within an MSP, selling IT and cyber security services to businesses and organizations.Work with GM and the team to execute tactics and processes required to deliver on the sales strategyFoster a sales culture that values transparency, accountability and excellence, continually searching for new opportunitiesBuild relationships with key customers, make customer centric decisions ensuring customer service and satisfaction drives every decisionUtilize above average interpersonal skills, build consensus between sales and service teams, encourages collaboration to determine the best course of action for the customerMaintain consistent interaction with the team, evaluate ongoing employee performance and coordinate annual review and appraisal programsProvide coaching and training to employees when needed, understands people below the surfaceSet expectations for sales team and gain buy-in for continually improving systems and processes, demonstrate ability to get things done in order of priorityChampion an ERP that contributes to a collaborative working environment and cultureEstablish quarterly business reviews with customers, aligning senior management around the initiativeContinue to build a culture where continuous improvement is encouragedThe Requirements:7+ years hands-on experience proactively growing sales, building relationships with small and medium businesses, professional services, local government or not-for-profit organizations, experience working within a MSP is preferredProven sales ability with strong technical skills, experience with IT tech stacks is an assetA passionate sales leader who is a team player and able to establish a value proposition and convey excitement about the company brandhas experience building key relationships into trusted client partnerships, strategically grows sales teams and sales pipelinesThrives within a dynamic entrepreneurial environment, wears multiple hats, has exceptional communication and organizational skillsA hands-on doer with a proven track record working within complex sales cycles, knows what it takes to finesse multiple stakeholders to engage and purchaseNaturally curious, able to see outside the box, identify gaps in the market and initiate potential new opportunitiesExperience achieving quarterly sales targets, forecasting, reporting, KPIs and basing decisions on metricsThrives within a dynamic entrepreneurial culture where change is constant, a continuous learner who strives for consistent improvementA natural collaborator who is out-going and demonstrates energy and a sense of urgency when fulfilling day-to-day responsibilitiesHas experience utilizing a CRM within an ERP and has advanced excel skillsOur goal at People First Solutions is to hire top performers for our clients.
