Operate rear pack trucks on assigned routes to collect and transport solid waste. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with all safety regulations and local traffic laws. Communicate effectively with Dispatch and Route Supervisor to ensure route efficiency and excellent customer service. Use FleetMind or similar software to document work progress and route information. Accurately complete route-related documentation and reports. Immediately report any incidents, mechanical issues, or accidents to the Route Supervisor. Working Conditions: Drive commercial rear pack trucks in a yard and between locations. Navigate tight spaces, including alleys, and work in areas with potential overhead hazards. Operate the vehicle in all weather conditions, ensuring timely waste collection and disposal. Complete time-sensitive pickups and deliveries Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must meet insurance eligibility requirements to operate commercial vehicles. Valid Class DZ or AZ License with a clean driving record. 1-2 years of proven experience driving DZ vehicles, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Skilled in maneuvering and backing large trucks in tight and challenging environments. Clean CVOR and driver abstract for the past 24 months, demonstrating a commitment to safe driving. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and performing physical tasks in various outdoor conditions. Strong work ethic, with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality customer service.
