The Client:Argentus is thrilled to be working with one of our great clients in the Manufacturing industry on an exciting Supply Chain leadership role! This company has a proud history in their industry, with a reputation for sustainability and development of industry-leading highly-engineered technologies for a suite of global customers. Today, theyre looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager! The Opportunity:This individual will work on-site at the companys facility in Toronto, ON, with a mandate to maintain and optimize the companys supply chain strategy and operations. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a diverse set of supply chain functions including procurement and supplier management, material planning, inventory management, supply chain systems optimization, supply chain performance tracking and improvement, and new product integration. You will work to build and optimize relationships with the companys suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and proactively mitigating risks, while using data to evaluate supplier performance, and collaborating with suppliers and sourcing teams to manage future requirements for capacity, in compliance with ISO QA standards. In addition, you will review Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) data and participate in demand forecasting, working to optimize safety stock levels and inventory turns to execute on a just-in-time delivery strategy. You will work within the companys ERP system (Syspro), as well as advanced systems including Kinaxis and KetteQ to ensure excellent supply chain data capture and utilization. Through all of these functions, you will lead the companys high-performing team of procurement and production planning staff to execute at a high level and consistently improve the supply chain function.The Ideal Candidate:-This role is an excellent fit for a well-established supply chain leader with a background in manufacturing, particularly Automotive, Electronics, Heavy Industry, Heavy Metals, etc. A background in Food or Consumer Goods Manufacturing is not a great fit for the role. -The successful candidate needs to be a holistic supply chain professional with strong skills in procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and MRP. -In addition, candidates must have strong people management skills, as well as a strong understanding of ERP systems (Syspro), as well as Excel. -Experience in Kinaxis, KetteQ and other advanced planning tools is a strong asset.If youre a Supply Chain leader looking to make an impact with your next role, apply today!About Argentus: We are a boutique recruitment firm specialized entirely within the areas of Supply Chain Management and Procurement, with a proven track record of placing candidates at some of the top companies in Canada.Please note: We thank all applicants for their interest, however we are only able to reply to applicants who fit our client's criteria.
