The intern will work within a designated business group, supporting research initiatives and having other responsibilities aligned with the teams goals. This role is located in Regina (hybrid).The Core Responsibilities Of The Job:Work on a rotational basis within the Commercial Banking group to learn about the different job opportunities/requirementsConduct research on systemic barriers to Commercial banking for Indigenous peoplesProvide administrative support to your immediate manager as neededAssist with the Office Regional Manager dutiesDraw on lived experiences to bring awareness to issues impacting Indigenous communitiesWork collectively with peer Indigenous InternsDevelop and deliver a final paper/report with findings and recommendationsSupport business group initiatives and assist with day-to-day operations as requiredCollaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvementsParticipate in meetings and contribute insights relevant to the teams objectivesSupport additional administrative or project-based tasks as neededLet's Talk About You!An Indigenous student currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a college, university, or equivalent programBusiness and financial knowledge is an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office productsExcellent written communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and review ones own workAbility to source research ethically and ensure proper citation practicesWhat we offer (For full-time permanent roles) Competitive discretionary bonus Market leading RRSP match program
