Position: Millwright Job type: Full-time, perm Shift: Monday to Friday, Day (7:30 AM - 4 PM) on-call after training Location: Elmira, ON Pay: $40.85/hr (lower rate for non licensed) Senior non licensed Millwright and apprentice are welcome to apply Primary Responsibilities Maintaining a preventative maintenance program for the Elmira facility, including upkeep of the property and buildings, that is in compliance with all corporate procedures and government regulatory guidelines. Taking corrective action, where necessary, that is in compliance with corporate procedures and government regulatory guidelines. Providing support for all personnel involved in the maintenance and production of the facility, property and buildings; and ensuring high standards of safety, housekeeping, quality, internal service, efficiency and cost control that are consistent with corporate objectives. Railcar connecting and sealing Replacing/repairing/fabricating all types of mechanical and/ or electrical equipment, providing practical and economical services to increase productivity, including repair/replacement of defective equipment (i.e. pumps, valves, hoses etc.) Monitoring contractors work in compliance with health and safety regulations and corporate procedures Keeping thorough records of all equipment inspections Requirements: Certified licensed Millwright (Preferred) 3 years of work-related experience, preferably including the following trades: plumbing; machinery; pipe fitting; mechanical, welding. Strong knowledge of federal/provincial environmental, and health and safety legislation Ability to interpret technical specifications and manuals Strong interpersonal skills Effective time management skills work permit, PR or citizens are eligible
