Job description The Dauphin Veterinary Clinic is seeking a customer service superstar to join our team as a front desk Veterinary Receptionist. As a receptionist, you are the heart of our practice. You create first and last impressions for clients, providing comfort and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly. Your role reflects our commitment to treating all clients and patients with respect, compassion, and empathy. Important tasks performed by the reception team include: Veterinary reception and administrative duties Maintaining and cleaning the clinic Adhering to inventory control protocols Triaging incoming calls and scheduling appointments Keeping accurate records and logs Advising clients on animal nutrition and routine healthcare (training provided) What skills do you need to succeed? Must be comfortable with technology and learning various computer systems A strong desire to learn and grow within the position Professional written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to change quickly Capable of lifting 40-50 lbs Required Experience The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in customer service. Although we are a veterinary clinic, our clients keep us in business. You will mainly interact with humans, and experience doing so calmly and professionally is essential.
