Note this role requires flexibility and shift work including weekends.Team Leadership & Process Oversight Directs frontline hourly team members in vegetable production (processing, packaging, and supply chain) while ensuring adherence to schedules, safety, and quality procedures. Leads team meetings and process improvement initiatives.Safety & Compliance Assumes leadership in plant safety, food safety, and waste reduction programs. Conducts inspections and ensures compliance with safety regulations. Participates in workplace investigations and disciplinary actions when needed.Training & Workforce Management Onboards new team members, coordinates and monitors training programs, and assesses performance. Manages staffing schedules, facilitates job transfers, and identifies workforce needs.Process Improvement & Reporting Develops equipment knowledge to support team coaching. Analyzes and implements process improvements. Completes shift reports, action logs, and communicates variances to maintain operational efficiency.Profile -Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience is preferredMechanical and analytical aptitude and experience preferredPost secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline - or equivalent knowledge and/or experienceProven leadership experience, can effectively engage a diverse workforce.
