ROLE OVERVIEWOur client, Chartered Professional Accountants New Brunswick (CPANB), is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Registrar to support the organizations admission, registration, and compliance functions. This key role will act as a principal liaison between CPA membership and firm registration, ensuring efficient processes and a seamless experience for candidates, members, and firms.The Associate Registrar will oversee the implementation of regulatory policies, process applications and renewals, monitor compliance with professional standards, and collaborate with national committees. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced regulatory environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage and enhance admission, registration, and compliance processes to provide efficient and responsive service to candidates, members, and firms.Process applications and renewals for CPA membership, firm registration, public practice permits, and professional corporation licenses.Handle requests for non-resident membership, transfers, retirements, resignations, and special considerations such as fee waivers, CPD exemptions, and confirmations of good standing.Issue member certificates, public practice permits, and licenses while maintaining accurate documentation for reconciliation.Monitor member and firm compliance with professional obligations, conduct CPD audits, and recommend corrective actions in accordance with CPA New Brunswick regulations.Maintain and update membership and firm databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Oversee compliance with professional liability insurance (PLI) requirements, verifying firm adherence to regulatory policies.Prepare detailed reports on candidate, member, and firm activities for internal management and external stakeholders.Serve as a liaison with national and provincial CPA bodies, participating in relevant committees and task forces.Perform other related duties as required to support regulatory operations. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEPost-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent in a related field.Minimum five (5) years of experience in senior administration.At least two (2) years of experience in member or student services, ideally within a professional association, higher education institution, or regulatory body.Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and oral) is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a willingness to learn database management systems.Experience in professional admission and compliance administration is a strong asset. QUALIFICATIONS ET EXPERIENCEDiplme dtudes postsecondaires ou quivalent dans un domaine connexe.Minimum de cinq (5) ans dexprience en administration de niveau suprieur.Au moins deux (2) ans dexprience dans les services aux membres ou aux tudiants, idalement au sein dune association professionnelle, dun tablissement denseignement suprieur ou dun organisme de rglementation.Matrise bilingue en franais et en anglais (crit et oral) requise.Comptence en Microsoft Office et volont dapprendre grer des bases de donnes.
