Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work. You will collaborate closely with client organizations tounderstand their unique challenges and objectives and provide tailored HR solutions to addresstheir needs effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, exceptionalcommunication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving positiveorganizational change. Consulting experience is not required, as we welcome candidates withdiverse HR backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow. One of the exciting aspects of thisrole is the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, gaining invaluableexperience and insights into different organizational cultures and challenges.The Day-to-Day: Integrated and Project HR SupportClient Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for designated client organizations, building strongrelationships and understanding their HR needs.Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with clients to assess their HR requirementsand provide proactive support and guidance.Champion and promote a vibrant and inclusive company culture by organising events,initiatives and programs that foster a diverse, team focused work environment helping todrive organizational success.HR Consultation and Advisory Services:Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR topics, including recruitment,employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.Collaborate with clients to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with theirbusiness objectives, driving positive outcomes for their organization.Strategic HR Planning and Implementation:Partner with clients to develop strategic HR plans that support their long-term goals andobjectives.Oversee and lead the implementation of HR initiatives, programs, and policies designedto enhance organizational effectiveness and drive employee engagement.Talent Management and Development:Support clients in talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment strategy development,candidate sourcing, and selection processes.Design and deliver learning and development programs to enhance workforce skills andcapabilities, aligning with client needs and business objectives.Employee Relations and Engagement:Provide guidance and support to clients in resolving employee relations issues andfostering a positive work environment.Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies to enhanceemployee satisfaction and loyalty.HR Process Optimization:Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency within clientorganizations.Recommend and implement HR technology solutions to automate and optimize HRoperations.Provide other HR-related support as required.QualificationsPost-secondary education with a focus in Human Resources, Commerce or related field.A minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on businesspartnering.Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable vehicle.Computer literacy, including effective working skills of HRIS systems, Adobe products,Google suite, and Microsoft Office preferred.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively in an independent, fast-paced, dynamic environment andmanage multiple client engagements simultaneously.Strategic thinking skills with the ability to align HR initiatives to organizational goals anddeliver practical solutions.Proven project management skills required.A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, andpeople management skills.High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlyingprinciples, reasons, or facts.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion andprofessionalism.CPHR certification would be an asset.Stoppler Hughes is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to providing employmentopportunities to all qualified individuals, without regard to race, religion, age, sex, color, nationalorigin, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or disability.Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions.
