Purpose of JobEQ Banks IT team is starting to evolve and Needs a talented Senior DevOps Engineer with a solid passion in this space. Experienced and knowledgeable about the end to end software build chain, operations and automated build and release process.Main Activities:Design, improve and implement build and release pipelinesProvide subject matter expertise to developers and testers on the current and future technology of DevOps tools chainWork and collaborate with the larger team to exchange knowledge, solutions and practices to build a more consistent, robust approach to development approachesResearch and analyze existing and emerging technologies to identify products, tools to support the DevOps teamContinuously improve performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks that will reduce time to build and deliver our softwareBuild and Maintain high availability Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery infrastructureEngage as a lead in DevOps capacity planning, software performance analysis and system tuningReview and provide feedback on product functional specifications, design specificationsPerform formal Code Review, static and security analysis, design and implement Unit Tests and perform code coverage analysisAdminister and oversee the Microsoft Power Platform suite, which includes managing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual AgentsSet up and follow DevOps best practices for continuous integration and deployment of Power Platform solutionsWork closely with Citizen developers and Power users to guide on best practices and also to educate and empower them to leverage the Power Platform effectivelyKnowledge/Skill Requirements:Subject Matter expert with minimum 5 years experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment orchestration Champion cloud deployments to Azure, AWS or GCP - 2 year solid hands-on experienceExpertise in platform as a service using Pivotal CF or IBM Bluemix - 2+ year experience Good trouble shooting skills and practical usage of various source control systems (Git, SVN) - 5+ years of experienceSolid understanding of Software Delivery LifecycleGood to have SecOps experienceArchitecture and design understanding behind containers and work with Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies - 3+ years of experienceWorking knowledge of programming/scripting in one or more of the following languages: Java, C, C++, groovy, Python, ShellFamiliarity with Power Platform suiteBachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of Computer Science, Systems or EngineeringFive or more years of similar professional experienceAccountabilityThe Senior Dev Ops Engineer will help development teams (in house and external vendor suppliers) build, integrate, manage and deploy releases into all environments using a hybrid methodology (Agile + Waterfall). This role requires collaboration with all participants across the SDLC: software developers, Quality Assurance, Automated Testing, Infrastructure, Production Owners, Operations, Channels, and Business Units representatives as they continuously develop, deploy, test and implement technology changes
