We are seeking a Civil Superintendent to schedule, coordinate and supervise activities of workers (laborers, operators, carpenters, finishers, etc.) engaged on projects. Key Responsibilities: Promote and enforce craft and subcontractors compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented; Mentor and coach foremen as it relates to company policies and procedures and work requirements; Conduct and/or direct project safety meetings; Supervise foremen assigned to area of responsibility and provide liaison between field engineering, estimating, and crafts to ensure compliance of construction with drawings and specifications; Coordinate sub-contractors onsite; Plan, organize, direct and control methods of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, work schedule and reviewing documentations; Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, projects or other contractors; Inspect work areas to determine type of work required and materials and equipment to be used; Ensure that workers are supplied with tools, materials and equipment for completion of project; Perform additional job duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor''s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution; 6+ years related experience and/or training within the civil construction industry; Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred; Knowledge and understanding of Union Agreement and wage rules; Valid Drivers License.
