As a member of WCDs senior management team, this role will oversee software development, project management, product development, and IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with the companys business objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with organizational strategic objectives and financial goals. Provide strategic direction for digital transformation initiatives, integrating advanced technologies like AI and LLMs. Identify and prioritize technology investments to enhance scalability, security, and efficiency. Contributes to overall company direction and strategic planning 2. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and develop a high performing technology team including software development, IT, product management, and AI specialists. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Define team goals and measure performance through key metrics. Ensure resources are deployed effectively to achieve utilization targets 3. Project and Process Implementation: Oversee the design and execution of transformative projects, leveraging workflow automation, AI, and integration solutions. Develop and optimize systems and processes that drive operational efficiency and deliver measurable outcomes. 4. Innovation and Product Development: Explore the development and implementation of new customer solutions Drive the development of reusable code libraries and frameworks to accelerate product development. Champion best practices in software development and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. Collaborate with senior management on new partnerships and offerings. 5. Cloud and Infrastructure Management: Contribute to cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud solutions. Align IT and Security initiatives to business objectives Liaise with external consultants on major projects 6. Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders internally and externally Build strong relationships with key customers, demonstrating thought leadership and expertise. Work with sales/client teams to design solutions to address client needs 7. Communication and Reporting: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, team performance, and strategic initiatives. Manage a P&L for your business unit. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field 8+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including product development and AI-driven solutions. Expertise in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, Go) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Good understanding of ITIL-based service management, automation tools, and AI technologies. Experience with Industry specific platforms including M-Files, Infigo, Kofax / Tungsten Automation are considered an asset. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
