The Director, Tank & Cryogenic Fleet Maintenance is a critical management and leadership role in the business. You will oversee the dangerous goods vehicle inspections and testing processes, ensuring staff perform testing and inspections as per code and safety procedures. You will also have direct customer interactions, preparing, submitting, and revising customer quotes for vessel repairs and maintenance, assisting with triaging customer equipment upon arrival, assisting with planning and scheduling of repairs, and overseeing technician work practices and safe work procedures. This role will leverage in-depth knowledge, skills, and experience of vessel testing and Inspections to enhance current technician skills and develop the vessel testing and Inspection business. Duties: Primary contact with Transport Canada, responsible for audits and achieving approval to expand GoRights testing and Inspection capabilities (additional codes, R Stamp) Ongoing communications with customers to update status and states of repairs to customer equipment in maintenance and communications software systems, to maintain an optimal flow of operations and customer satisfaction Work closely with Service Centre management to optimize resources to achieve efficiency objectives and customer promise dates Development of business analysis for growth in B620 Testing and Inspections business Manage recruitment and training for B620 technicians Update and maintain manuals for vessel testing and inspections Investigate and procure specialty tooling for testing and Inspections Support Sales, play an active role in developing sales for the vessel test and inspections Supervise vessel tests and Inspections Triage equipment to confirm scope of work on repairs and update customer quotes At times, assist with pre-ordering of parts using Company software systems to provide part lead time requirements to Supply Chain function Follow Company SOPs, SWIs, and work flows to ensure processes are completed accurately and on time Qualifications: Experience and certification as a B620 Tester / Inspector (Primarily codes 406 and 407) Customer service training and experience Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent with technical training 310T Truck & Coach, B620 certification At GoRight, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of belonging that enables us to serve the diverse needs of our community effectively.
