Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a well-established Pharmaceutical organisation. They are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team through the appointment of a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Development.SVP of Business Development - Responsibilities:Responsible for the oversight of all Sales & Business Development and Marketing activities for the organisationBuild Sales team personnel and resources as needed, and train new team membersIdentify new business areas to break into and develop the company furtherDevelop and maintain long term client relationships through the use of existing networks and other sales tools, resulting in the expansion of client baseCollaborate with members of the Commercial team to ensure an excellent client experience across all client interactions, from needs assessment through to delivery and follow upCollaborate effectively with the Marketing team to develop marketing strategies to attract and retain clients, and build awareness of company capabilities and services to generate revenueNegotiate contracts & agreements, and generate client proposals and bidsIdentify and attend key conferences for the purpose of growing company visibilitySVP of Business Development - Requirements:Professional work experience within a Commercial function including Sales/Business Development & Key Account ManagementExperience leading Commercial teamsStrong ability to build and grow networks of connections with people of all types and backgroundsProven track record of establishing strategic partnershipsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsIndependent critical thinking and creative problem solving skillsComfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales processHighly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at onceMantell Associates is a specialist Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences headhunting firm.
