Toys R Us Canada, proud to be Canadian owned and operated, has an opportunity for a full-time Fulfilment Team Lead - Outbound on the day shift. This position is performed in our Concord Distribution Centre.Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. The Fulfilment Team Lead will ensure the timely and accurate processing and preparing of shipments for customer orders, store orders and courier pickups. They must have a sense of urgency and excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills.We want to bring on someone who values what we value- teamwork, excellence, authenticity, accountability and integrity. Responsibilities:Serve as a lead within a fulfillment operation which includes customer online orders as well as ship to store ordersPerform various duties for processing and shipping customer and store ordersPrepare necessary documentation for customer orders. Prepares address labels and bill of lading(BOL) for outgoing shipments, using Techship Loading trailers (using various material handling equipment)Palletize shipments for courier pickups ensuring deadlines for orders and courier pick ups are metAssign work to team members based on a FIFO modelPerform dispatch functions as needed and completes all courier paperwork.Communicating with carriers via telephone or emailProvides excellent customer service and responds to inquiries within set timeframesCommunicating with various organizations within the companyEscalates urgent requests as needed to the DC ManagerEnsure internal and external customers requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional mannerMaintain your work area in a safe and organized manner, ensuring housekeeping standards are adhered to. Comply with ToysRUs Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards and with the OHSA.Must be able to meet all productivity standards established by the company. Performs other duties and projects as assignedQualifications:1 2 years of experience in a fulfilment centre / warehouse environment preferred with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.Must have previous experience and / or hold a valid Reach Truck license Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint and MS Teams) Proficient in using X3 system and RF technology Excellent customer service skillsExcellent organization, planning, and communication skillActs with a sense of urgency and self-direction within established guidelinesAbility to support multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environmentMust be able to cross train between all areas of the DCMust have high initiative, integrity and dependability to function effectively as a team player.
