We're full of ideas to inspire you!great position!Location: Mississauga ONReports to: Marketing ManagerAs a Social Media Specialist you'll be an integral part of an exciting and dynamic Marketing team, acting as the frontline voice of the brand by interacting with customers and fans in real time on various social media platforms. You will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining a strong online presence for the company, engaging with the audience, and leveraging influencer partnerships to promote products and retail locations. You lead a variety of projects to develop and deliver concepts, programs, campaigns and analysis across multiple social media platforms and communities, under tight deadlines. Your years of experience will be applied to further strengthen Kitchen Stuff Plus position as a leader in the housewares market.Stuff youll do:Social Media Management:Possess a strong knowledge of the social media landscape, industry trends, competitor strategies and emerging social media platforms/tools.Direct all aspects of company social media accounts, including systems set-up; liaise and work with internal departments to support business objectives and goals, ensuring consistency in brand voice; content planning & creation of messaging for all social channels; manage all social media visual assets to increase brand awareness and support sales, engagement and conversions across various platforms.Creation and deployment of social media campaigns, including creative set-up, proofreading and deployment; assist with development and production of short videos for use on social media and for paid media advertising; maintain and analyze all campaigns on an ongoing basis. Manage social media calendar planning, analysis, and reporting; define and measure key success metrics and benchmarks, preparing campaign results analytics and key learning reports; provide reports on audience management and make recommendations for growth; test and report on effective post design and layout; recommend channels appropriate for Kitchen Stuff Plus.Monitor social media channels, respond to consumer comments, adequately handle customer questions, complaints, and other miscellaneous inquiries via social media channels promptly and professionally; work with the Customer Service Administrator to design, maintain and optimize processes for excellent and brand-appropriate customer service in all online communications; identify and escalate priority issues; share customer feedback with the applicable internal departments.Develop comprehensive paid advertising strategies on social media platforms.Create and design compelling ad creatives that resonate with target audiences.Monitor and optimize ad campaigns regularly to improve performance, including A/B testing and audience segmentation.Influencer Marketing:Identify, research, and maintain an influencer list with potential influencers and content creators who align with Kitchen Stuff Plus values and target audience.Build and nurture relationships with influencers, negotiating partnerships, compensation, and contractual agreements.Oversee the end-to-end execution of influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring influencer delivers content in timely and high-quality manner.Brief influencers effectively on campaign objectives, deliverables, and brand guidelines.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate influencer marketing campaigns into broader initiatives.Identify emerging influencer marketing trends, negotiate unique ways of working with content creators.Monitor and measure the success of influencer campaigns, track and analyze KPIs for influencer campaigns including reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI.Work with Marketing Manager on influencer budget management to ensure campaigns stay within budget.Generate reports and insights to optimize future campaigns.Stuff we need from you:A believer in Internet media, a social media advocate and user.Degree in advertising, marketing, graphics, web development, communications, or related field.Minimum 3 years experience in social media and influencer marketing - preferably in a retail environment.Excels at research, possesses excellent writing skills; able to express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications.Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Wordpress.Applied knowledge of web protocols (HTML 4 or 5 and CSS).Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and experience in designing for social media and other digital mediums considered an asset.Knowledge of search engine optimization and of the technicalities associated with the back end of social media channels presence.Ability to execute projects in a timely fashion, from start to finish, under tight deadlines and with a minimum of supervision.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Extremely detail-oriented with a critical eye for quality and accuracy.Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.Passion for cooking, home dcor, design, food and/or lifestyle an asset.Ability to work in a team environment and incorporate direction/feedback provided.Ability to work a standard work week with flexibility to work additional hours as needed during peak seasons.Must enjoy working in a fast-pace, quick turn-around, think-on-your-feet environment.Proactive, solution-oriented attitude.Assets: Experience in email marketing, experience working with and managing agencies, familiarity with JavaScript.Stuff for you:Fast-paced, dynamic, engaging work culture.Hybrid office environment.Generous staff discount.Benefits Package.Ongoing training and developmentStuff that matters to us:Our Differences are what make us great!Kitchen Stuff Plus encourages, supports, and celebrates a diverse and inclusive environment for all.
