You have a solid track-record in managing a hotel or collection of hotel properties. You are looking to grow your career thru partnership with us. Pacific Reach is well-capitalized, and owns diversified businesses. Reporting directly to the CEO, the director of hotel operations is an integral member of the senior management team. Responsibilities: Set budgets and drive financial performance of hotel properties. Engage with hotel unions in bargaining, resolving issues, and build relationships. Resolve complex HR matters and set compensation expectations. Liaise with hotel franchisors, and negotiate new franchise agreement. Manage capital upgrades at hotel properties, and controlling capital spend vs. budget. Participate in due diligence, and keep abreast of market activities for hotels. Oversee all hotel managers and provide on-going feedback. Participate in strata activities for strata hotels. Other ad-hoc responsibilities, including working with property tax consultant on appeals. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience for a single property or multiple properties. A Bachelors degree in business administration or hospitality management Strategic thinking with exceptional communication and analytical abilities.
