Job Summary: As the Specialist, Retailer Business, this role will efficiently and effectively manage new product set-up with retailers, provide inventory analysis and oversee order processing for assigned retailers/brands. Analyze net sales to determine retailer inventory needs.Communicate with retail head offices, stores, internal departments, and field sales to implement programs. Work with field team, sales, and marketing to aid in the communication of programs. Provide support and analysis for the overall retail sales for assigned retailers/brand(s). Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Product Order Flow Set up all programs (launches, promotions, POSM) in retailer systems. Develop launch product allocations by store based on sales plans and overall brand objectives. Oversee and manage order flow for retailers for saleable (basic and promotion) and no-charge items ensuring retailer orders are accurate to forecasts. Coordinate order ship dates and be the key contact with shipping department, logistics and order desk. Communicate assortment matrix seasonally to retail partners. Database maintenance includes product catalogue, product assortments & master distribution list. Retailer Inventory Analysis and Reporting Along with demand planning, provide analysis of core & new launch inventory by category and key products with recommendations to ensure stock freshness is maintained and balanced. Provide weekly and monthly analysis and commentary on shipment status and net sales to ensure brand objectives are met. Communicate return plans with Finance and Warehouse Teams; reconcile returns as needed. Support special projects and project management. National Brand Summary Reporting Support brand teams with brand-specific reporting for Brand Holder reports (multi-retailer views). Support corporate team with customized reporting, as required, for national/regional/global presentations and business planning. Retailer Head Office Replenishment Contact Key Contact for communication with retailer replenishment teams. Responsible for obtaining Automatic Replenishment orders and group national orders for launches and promotions in line with net shipment plans. Responsible for retailer inventory management and order flow. Collaborate on all retailer-specific planning forms for seasonal market meetings. Maintain retailer assortments for sku setups and discontinuations. Communicate sell-down and discontinuation strategies to retailers and submit changes through retailer processes, systems, and forms. Communicate and monitor return authorizations per brand direction and financial plans. Create return and credit memo details for all national and local returns, markdowns, tester creation, etc. and monitor return projections. Liaise with Marketing & Logistics Ensure operational efficiency and priorities. Working with IT Department, consistently update data for Power BI reporting (sku info for launches & discontinuations, etc.) to ensure accuracy of monthly reports. Attend Operations and Logistics meetings to communicate brand sales priorities and projects. On-going communication with the order desk & marketing department for all programs. Work with logistics and IT departments to set up new accounts and skus as needed. Promote efficiencies and synergies amongst sales team, internal departments, and retail staff by creating, monitoring, and ensuring effective processes. Qualifications & Competencies: University Degree or College Diploma in Business related disciplines Strong leadership, analytical, negotiating, and organizational abilities Minimum 3 years related experience, ideally in the cosmetic industry Highly developed communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
