Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Manufacturing to build our production operation . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing the build and operation of our manufacturing process. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing processes, team management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Lead the design and construction of a new manufacturing line, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and high performance. Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and standards that align with best practices and company objectives. Oversee the selection and installation of equipment, machinery, and technology to maximize efficiency and productivity. Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team of manufacturing personnel, providing mentorship and career development. Work cross-functionally to establish clear timelines, deliverables, and milestones for the buildout and production ramp-up. Develop and manage the budget for the manufacturing line project, ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Establish a safety-first culture and implement stringent quality control processes to ensure product excellence. Continuously assess and optimize processes, implementing lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies. Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure seamless integration of material flows and inventory management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure production targets are consistently met. Drive the operationalization of the new manufacturing line, ensuring on-time delivery of products with cost-effective methods. Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field . Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role. Proven experience building a manufacturing line or facility from scratch. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.). Expertise in production planning, quality assurance, and equipment procurement. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and meet aggressive timelines. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
