The PTs, taking direction from the Clinical Manager and Program Manager, specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Supporting clients and their families through prevention, education, consultation, early identification, and management of disabilities Providing assessment and intervention for children birth to school entry, individually or in groups, program development and consultation for a wide variety of children with neurological, musculoskeletal and developmental concerns Providing service to assess and to design, implement record and evaluate all aspects of individual physical therapy programs for children with disabilities in an efficient and effective manner Maintaining awareness of relevant community resources and factors that impact disabilities and to educate, consult and counsel individuals, families and other agencies or professionals to promote appropriate physical development and to maximize functioning Exchanging information and ideas in a manner that fosters understanding and positive relationships with clients, families, co-workers and the community. Maintaining the standards of professional practice and conduct/ethics of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario More About You: To qualify, applicants must have a Masters degree in Physiotherapy, or equivalent, and be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO), in addition to: Strong analytical skills, organized and detail minded, be able to prioritize tasks in order to meet strict deadlines and have excellent follow-up Effective oral and written communication skills with high level of attention to detail and adherence to confidentiality standards Experience with children who have a variety of developmental, physical, and communicative disorders Ability to work independently with little direction, self-motivated with excellent time management skills, and demonstrates initiative Demonstrated collaboration, consultation and coaching skills working with diverse groups Possess a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle with public liability/property damage coverage as travel may be required Proficiency in MS Office applications including SharePoint and Teams In addition to the above qualifications, the following skills and experience will be strong assets: Experience prescribing equipment through the ADP program Excellent time management, problem-solving and caseload management skills Knowledge of AlayaCare or other electronic charting software Standard First Aid and CPR We invite applications from those interested in this position to submit a letter of interest and resume to Human Resources Recruitment.
