Job Description

Title: IT Business Analyst Hybrid Model: Onsite 2-3x per week Downtown Toronto Duration: 1 year contract - covering for a maternity leave Rate: 40-50/h depending on relative experience Position Responsibilities Conduct meetings with department heads within Business Unit (BU) to understand process and to ensure that stakeholder IT needs are being met and dealt with appropriately. Conduct in-depth analysis to elicit comprehensive business requirements and use cases, to interpret and to recommend solutions. Deliver precise functional specifications, wireframes, and user stories that include functional hierarchy, workflow, business rules, interface design and definitions, outstanding issues, data analysis, and data mapping to end users and technical staff. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement enhancements and solutions. Diagram process flows. Assist technical and configuration team members with triage to ensure that business requestor is aware of potential resolution options. Communicate proactively and effectively all assigned pending demand and active work throughout agile sprints or projects. It can be anticipated that there will be numerous concurrent sprints of varying size and complexity. Manage multiple stakeholder groups, translating and interpreting business needs into actionable requirements and into deliverable solutions. Provide guidance to internal Business Leads on application functions. Support change management activities by assisting with development of training materials, training scenarios, documentation, communication and change impacts. Maintain and develop relevant expertise in the domain. Assist with incident triage and end-user support or enhancement requests and testing. Lead and manage AMS teams in addressing day to day issues, changes, service requests and process improvement initiatives Lead and drive the high priority incidents investigation and resolution by coordinating with various stakeholders, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and communication to minimize business impact. Monitor and report IT Business SLA KPI Manage bi-weekly portfolio review meetings and coordinate with the team members for updates to PNOW Qualifications Bachelor Degree is required Minimum 3-5 years functional and/or technical and functional combined: o Experience in Manufacturing o Requirements definition/mapping o Solution design experience o Hands-on development of project deliverables - formal/structured methodology. o Test planning and scenario creation. Test script creation and editing. Experience with SAP and SAP MII is a plus. Experience with MES or OT is a plus. Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and frameworks. Experience with (CMDB) Configuration Management Database Solid blend of business and/or technical capabilities, business operating models and underlying technical architectures. Demonstrates process & technical knowledge of the core area supported as well as the areas integrating with their area. Understanding of end-to-end processes is a plus. Consumer Products Industry experience desirable. Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment. Experience with project management methodologies Ability to travel 10% or more as part of the role on a routine basis.
