We are searching for an Accountant to join our exceptional team at Trisan Construction in Schomberg, ON. We are a fast pace growing construction company looking for someone who is strong in finance, energetic, solutions-oriented and self motivated who wants to grow with the company and develop their skills with a great accounting team. You will be reporting directly to the Controller. Primary Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports Prepare month end account reconciliations and provide insightful analysis Engage with Project Managers on status of projects Monitor project costs and compare against Budget Determine necessary accruals for each job Prepare bank reconciliation Prepare month end journal entries Maintain all fixed assets and equipment leases Reconcile payroll remittances (EHT, WSIB) T4 preparation annually Ad hoc analysis as required Competencies, Skills and Knowledge : Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast- paced environment Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel Jonas Construction software knowledge an asset Exceptional analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Demonstrates integrity and innovative thinking Ability to use sound judgment when setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
