We have an exciting opportunity to join as an Intake Specialist working in our Intakes Department in Vancouver. Reporting to the managing partners, your role will include but are not limited to the following: Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Be a part of a team of people interviewing vulnerable people going through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Handle incoming calls from potential clients and gathering information. Ensure that client information is properly documented. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Experience Genuine interest in helping people in a trauma informed way. Experience in sales and/or call centres is an asset. High organization skills with the ability to multi-task, learn fast, and work in a team environment. Strong work ethic and a self-starter. Detail oriented. A people person with a friendly and compassionate attitude. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to quickly develop a rapport with potential clients over the telephone or in person. General computer and typing skills.
