Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to join our RPO team, supporting this exciting client. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in building out a team in both the US and Canada, including Montreal. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for a variety of positions, primarily focusing on technical roles such as engineering and software development, as well as sales and marketing positions. You will work closely with hiring teams in both the US and Canada to understand their specific needs and cultural nuances, delivering exceptional talent acquisition services across borders. **This role will require the ability to effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers who may be primarily French Canadian. Key Responsibilities: * Partner with client HR teams and hiring managers in both the US and Canada to understand their hiring needs, including the specific skills, experience, and cultural fit required for various roles. * Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the offer process for positions in both the US and Canada. * Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent. This includes passive candidates, focusing on both US and Canadian markets, and leveraging a variety of platforms to reach the best candidates in both regions. * Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews, reference checks, and background checks, adapting your approach to the cultural contexts of both countries. * Collaborate with hiring managers to establish and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for immediate and future hiring needs, considering the specific talent pools available in each market. * Ensure a positive candidate experience by effectively communicating throughout the recruitment process and responding to candidate inquiries in a timely manner, tailoring communication to accommodate both English and French-speaking candidates. * Assist in the development of employer branding initiatives to promote our client as an employer of choice in both the US and Canada. * Utilize data and reporting tools to track recruitment metrics, analyze performance across both markets, and provide insights to identify areas for improvement. * Stay current on industry trends, best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition, and any relevant employment laws and regulations specific to both the US and Canada. Qualifications: * 7+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in an RPO or agency setting. * **Experience recruiting for technical roles, including engineering and software development, is a must.** * **Must be fluent in both English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with French-Canadian candidates and stakeholders.** * Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and candidate sourcing strategies, including experience using job boards, social media, and networking. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels in both the US and Canadian markets. * **Ability to navigate and understand the differences in recruitment practices, employment laws, and cultural norms between the US and Canada.** * Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Lever, and other recruitment software. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, working with remote teams across North America. * Results-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients and candidates in both markets.
