We''re seeking a dynamic Site Superintendent to join our client in the Commercial construction sector in Edmonton. As a Site Superintendent, you''ll play an important role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. You will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and trades to maintain workflow efficiency, enforce safety regulations, and manage site logistics. What we offer Salary: $120,000 to $155,000 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 100% employer paid medical and dental plus a health spending account. What You''ll Do: Effectively managing and coordinating own workforce, equipment, materials and trade contractors to attain targeted budget and schedule. Managing cost control during construction. Implementing Quality Control Programs. Working closely with the project managers, project coordinators, owners, consultants, inspectors and trade contractors Proactively identifying, addressing and resolving issues and problems as or before they occur. Prepare daily progress reports and updates stakeholders. Resolves conflicts between trades and subcontractors. Ensures workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards. Conducts quality checks and coordinates inspections with regulatory bodies. What We''re Looking For: A minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent is required. Completion of post-secondary studies in construction, building technology, engineering or a similar field is preferred. National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) Certification and Journeyman Carpenter ticket is preferred. Must have experience managing projects in excess of $30 million. Must possess strong communication skills, both verbally and written.. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects.
