Job Description

Role and Responsibilities Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project sponsors, project team members, and other internal and external stakeholders Provide direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization and various stakeholder groups. Develop, manage, and report on schedules, costs, resources, risks, and project objectives at various levels of the organization, including project governance tables. Lead project teams to meet objectives and stakeholders expectations providing direction and clear communication of the vision for project success. Develop and execute risk management and mitigation plans. Balance competing goals of project stakeholders to achieve consensus on project outcomes while maximizing business value of the project. Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the province to ensure successful adoption in addition to a successful transition to operations. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in a Business, Health, IT or related field. Minimum of five years experience in direct Project Management supplemented with demonstrated experience in, but not limited to: o Agile project development and execution o Leading large-scale projects and teams o QA and testing methodologies Experience in digital health related projects is preferred. Skills Knowledge of project management principles, standards, and processes. Proactively anticipate and manage changes in project scope. In-depth knowledge of both traditional and agile project management tools, techniques, and methods. Superior interpersonal skills (written and oral communications). Demonstrated ability to lead project teams in a matrix environment and engage diverse groups of stakeholders. Strong awareness of privacy and confidentiality. Knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and testing methodologies. Proficiency in project management software tools. Self-motivated and possess excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong analytic and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of provincial health care environment. Demonstrate good judgment and an ability to build consensus among groups with differing priorities. Demonstrate leadership, influence, communication, presentation and facilitation skills while balancing multiple initiatives.
