We are currently seeking a Senior Procurement Officer for our public sector client located in Burnaby, BC. This is a fulltime permanent position with a hybrid working model. Candidates MUST HAVE public sector procurement experience to apply. This includes procurement with non-profit, healthcare, education, and government organizations . In this position you will be leading the competitive and complex sourcing initiatives for high profile procurement. Roles and Responsibilities Provide expert procurement advice, guidance, and recommendations to meet business needs and objectives Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders Act as main point of contact for internal clients Work closely with various teams to ensure alignment of business and procurement needs are met to achieve positive business outcomes Analyze procurement requirements and determine best strategy based on established practices, policies, and procedures Lead the competitive public procurement process for large scale, high profile, and complex sourcing initiatives Manage all sourcing activities in sourcing portfolios Plan, organize, and lead the RFX process including drafting and issuing RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs Guide and advise in the development of the evaluation criteria Analyze, negotiate, and prepare simple and complex contractual agreements and framework agreements Qualifications and Experience Minimum 5 years procurement experience within the public sector Strong knowledge of the BPS Procurement Directive Excellent communication skills SCMP designation an asset If interested please apply now for immediately consideration!
