Title: Integration Functional Analyst Client Industry: PHSA Start Date: ASAP End Date: 6 months with possible 3 (6 month) extenstions Work Location: Remote Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Integration Functional Analyst to join our team and support the development and alignment of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendor integrations within the program. This role offers the opportunity to manage crucial vendor relationships, monitor development progress, and ensure a seamless integration process that supports the programs growth and adoption. Working closely with cross-functional teams, Integration Functional Analyst will monitor progress, provide technical guidance, and troubleshoot issues with vendors to ensure that all specifications are met and deliverables are achieved on time. By fostering collaboration across teams and actively engaging with clinical and technical stakeholders, this role will drive efficient eReferral deployments that streamline referral workflows, enhance user experience, and support the programs mission to reduce administrative burdens across healthcare sites. Services Required: Collaborate with internal teams to gather and clarify technical requirements for eReferral integrations, ensuring EMR vendors have the necessary specifications to meet project objectives Develop and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, standards, and protocols, providing a reference for future implementations and troubleshooting Identify and address any barriers to integration early, working with vendors to proactively resolve issues and mitigate potential delays Coordinate with clinical and technical teams to understand workflow needs, ensuring eReferral integrations are user-friendly and aligned with end-user requirements Participate in post-integration evaluations, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to inform ongoing improvements and future integration efforts Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards, including any relevant regulatory requirements, to protect patient information across integrations Assist in developing training materials or guides to support end users as new eReferral integrations are deployed Other duties as required Requirements and qualifications: A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in health informatics, computer science, business, or a related field, with training and/or experience in managing and supporting technical integrations. Experience working in BC Health Authorities considered an asset Knowledge of OceanMD and EMR systems considered a strong asset Five (5) years'''' recent experience in health IT, systems integration, or vendor management, ideally within healthcare or a related field Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and integrating third-party applications, including understanding of relevant standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR) Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with clinical/non-clinical staff, technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify technical issues and coordinate timely solutions Experience evaluating system integration test scripts and comprehensive testing plans Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple integration projects and track complex deliverables Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to document, monitor, and report on project milestones and potential risks Familiarity with data privacy and security standards relevant to healthcare, ensuring all integrations meet regulatory requirements Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, and experience using tracking or project management tools
