Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for mechanical projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate project plans and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate estimates for mechanical systems. Develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment required for mechanical installations. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to gather pricing information and assess project feasibility. Prepare and submit bid proposals, ensuring they align with the project scope and client requirements. Maintain accurate records of bids, estimates, and related project documentation. Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives during the estimating process. Track and analyze project costs to ensure they stay within budget throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on industry trends, market pricing, and new technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required). 5+ years of experience in mechanical estimating Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and other related systems. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, clients, and vendors. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
