Position Overview: LawDepot is currently seeking a Lawyer / Legal Writer to join our team. Working within the Legal department, you will create, update, and expand our legal product offerings across major English markets. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week. This role is eligible to work fully remote or hybrid from our Edmonton office. Primary Responsibilities: Draft, review, and refine online legal documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with legal standards Conduct thorough legal research to ensure all documents are current, up to date, and aligned with applicable laws Create and enhance document templates using internal content management systems Perform legal reviews for product updates, SEO content refreshes, and website material Develop and evaluate engaging articles and FAQs to guide a general audience in completing forms effectively Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for enhancements to improve user experience and efficiency Coordinate and manage projects related to our English language websites, collaborating with internal teams such as Development, Quality Assurance, and Marketing Perform quality assurance checks to maintain website accuracy and integrity Support paid search campaign managers by ensuring legal content aligns with marketing campaign goals Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Post-secondary education in the field of Law.
