We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and strategic Social Media Manager to elevate brand presence across multiple social platforms. This role will be responsible for content creation, audience engagement, trend research, and performance analysis to drive social media success. The ideal candidate is a digital storyteller who understands social media trends, audience behaviour, and platform best practices. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Creation & Scheduling Develop, curate, and edit engaging multimedia content (posts, images, videos, stories, reels, etc.) with direction from the Head of Social. Write compelling and brand-aligned captions, collaborating with copywriters when needed. Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite. Ensure all content maintains brand consistency, voice, and visual identity. 2. Platform Management & Optimization Manage daily posting and updates across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging platforms. Optimize content for platform-specific best practices to increase reach and engagement. Collaborate with the Head of Social & Social Media Manager to execute platform strategies. 3. Community Engagement & Customer Interaction Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner. Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing user-generated content (UGC). Foster a positive and engaged online community. Escalate customer inquiries or sensitive issues to the appropriate team. 4. Trend Research & Competitive Monitoring Stay informed about social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms. Identify trending topics and content opportunities to keep the brand culturally relevant. Monitor competitor activity and industry influencers, providing insights for strategy improvements. 5. Analytics & Performance Tracking Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth. Use tools like Meta Insights, Google Analytics, TikTok Analytics, and LinkedIn Analytics to analyze performance. Assist in monthly and quarterly performance reporting with data-backed insights and recommendations. 6. Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with design, content, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive campaigns. Assist with influencer outreach, brand collaborations, and partnerships. Coordinate with internal or external teams on promotional campaigns and special projects. 7. Administrative & Organizational Tasks Maintain a content calendar for consistent and strategic posting. Organize and archive digital assets (photos, videos, templates) for streamlined workflow. Prepare briefs for creative teams to align on campaign needs and brand messaging. Track budgets and expenses related to paid campaigns and collaborations. Ensure legal compliance with platform policies, copyrights, and brand guidelines. 8. Campaign Execution & Support Support the execution of giveaways, contests, paid social campaigns, and ad optimization. Monitor ongoing campaigns, flagging potential issues and recommending adjustments. Experiment with new formats, interactive content, and engagement tactics. Qualifications & Experience 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools. Proficiency in content scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, etc.). Experience in copywriting, community engagement, and influencer collaboration. Basic knowledge of paid social media advertising and A/B testing is a plus. Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
