SCM Contracts Advisor St. Johns, NL Schedule: M-F, Professional Working Day Contract: 12 months with possible renewal until Q4 2027 Introduction We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SCM Contracts Advisor to support a multi-year subsea inspection and installation project. This is a full-time, onshore position with an estimated start date of March 2025 and potential extension until Q4 2027. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading contract management activities from development to project closeout while minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with contractual terms. Responsibilities Develop and manage contract scopes of work for installation contractors and dive support vessels. Ensure compliance with processes and contract administration activities within the project. Lead negotiations and execute contracts using approved documentation. Provide feedback to project teams regarding negotiated outcomes and contract acceptance. Identify, manage, and resolve contract compliance discrepancies while recommending solutions for escalated issues. Manage contract change processes and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to terms. Facilitate contract closeout and warranty claim processes. Capture and incorporate lessons learned and risk closure from planning to execution phases. Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize contract management processes. Maintain historical supplier contract compliance and performance information for sourcing processes. Actively participate in stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management initiatives. Requirements Post-secondary education in business or a related field preferred. Minimum of 10 years of contract management experience, preferably within subsea engineering, installation, and marine vessel scopes. Proficiency in supplier analysis, selection, and relationship management (BPRM and SRM). Strong knowledge of supply chain management foundations, procurement law, and corporate governance. Skilled in negotiation, contract administration, and performance measurement through KPIs. Proven ability to lead and motivate external third-party stakeholders. Exceptional communication, presentation, and reporting skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in contract-related matters. What We Offer Why work with Brunel?
