The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in business and functional requirements gathering and exposure to distribution grid technologies, such as Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) or SCADA. This role offers a hybrid work environment with occasional travel to our Vaughan office. Key Responsibilities Define the business and functional requirements and managing the deployment of critical grid modernization software solutions, including ADMS and DSO software Manage vendors for specific programs and projects outlined in Grid Modernization initiatives Ensure the reliability and efficiency of in-house developed analytics through proactive maintenance, updates, and support. Address any issues swiftly to minimize impact on operations. Assist in preparing bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders before the required deadline. Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements. Support the development and implementation of utility-related solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Work closely with stakeholders to understand operational needs and identify opportunities for process improvements. Assist in the evaluation, integration, and optimization of distribution grid technologies such as ADMS or SCADA. Participate in data analysis and reporting, providing insights to support decision-making. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively. Support testing, validation, and user training for new system implementations and enhancements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices within the utilities sector. Required Qualifications & Skills 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the utilities industry. Strong understanding of business and functional requirement gathering techniques. Experience with distribution grid technologies such as ADMS or SCADA. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
