Job Description

Principal Responsibilities: Direct the MPG strategy to drive safety, productivity, profitable growth, and customer service excellence, through management of Country General Managers. Responsible for all country activities, ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards while optimizing utilization and operating costs. Responsible for commercial achievement and identifying/implementing strategic growth opportunities. Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cash flow, and take corrective actions as needed. Leadership & Operations: Set the HSEQ example for the countries Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. Lead the Country GMs in setting organizational goals, making major decisions, managing CAPE, building business cases and allocating resources effectively. Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and ethical business practices. Ensure robust business continuity plans are in place to mitigate disruptions and other operational risks. Identify opportunities for EMBRACE synergies and implement best practices across regions to improve efficiency and consistency. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards. Represent the company to stakeholders, including shareholders, board members, customers, partners, and regulatory bodies. Focus teams on The Triangle execution. Pricing, productivity and Growth Qualifications: BS/BA in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or relevant business field; Advanced degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is typically preferred. 15+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience in executive leadership roles, preferably in the industrial gas or related industries. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of business operations, finance, and industry-specific regulations. Ability to challenge the status quo and improve processes/programs. Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Extensive travel is required. Estimate approximately 50% travel.
