Type of work: Hybrid About: Our client, a mining and exploration company based in Canada, is looking to hire an Exploration Manager to join their team. This role will be on a Fly In Fly Out (FIFO)/rotational basis in eastern Canada in a northern climate, with rotation schedule to be confirmed. The individual is responsible to oversee operations and manage field activities. Responsibilities: Plan and Manage exploration operations (trenching, drilling campaigns, soil sampling, geophysical surveys, etc.) Manage access, permitting and logistics for exploration activities Manage the core farm and operations at site including heavy logistics (dozers, graders, cranes, etc.) Manage the exploration team and technical operators at site. Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience Qualified geologist with experience managing large drilling campaigns in Canada Ideally with experience in bulk commodities (iron ore, copper, coal, etc.) Entrepreneurial, self-reliant, and able to build a high-performing exploration team. Safety conscious Can take on non-geological responsibilities and grow with the project Prefer someone who speaks French
