The Role: As a Senior Proposal Writer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting, developing, and refining proposal content for diverse solicitations across public and private sectors. Your expertise will be integral to driving the planning and execution of the proposal development process with meticulous attention to detail. Beyond your core responsibilities, you will serve as a corporate subject matter expert at Tundra, providing valuable insights and knowledge. Collaborating seamlessly within Tundra''''s Proposals team, your primary focus is delivering compelling and high-quality proposals. Working across various regions and business lines, you will closely engage with internal clients to develop proposals that resonate effectively. Your collaboration extends to working with Account Managers and sales leaders, where your superior analytical and creative skills will be employed to manage timelines, gather information, collaborate on technical requirements, and set deadlines. Your oversight encompasses the entire response process, requiring strategic planning to ensure the production of winning proposals. Crafting, editing, and reviewing proposals in French (primary responsibility) and English Producing effective, competitive, and compliant responses to all RFPs, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and a high success rate. Facilitating kickoffs, ongoing bid meetings, and ensuring proposal schedules are identified and followed by all parties collaborating on the bid response. Developing new and innovative proposal content that aligns with Tundra''''s messaging and showcases the organization''''s capabilities. Organizing and updating content repositories, including boilerplate materials, to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current industry standards. In collaboration with the Proposal Coordinator, managing administrative tasks such as tracking RFPs, updating reports, and filing RFPs to ensure that Tundras RFP team operates efficiently, enabling Tundra to respond to multiple time-sensitive requirements. Collaborating with Recruiters and Account Managers to ensure RFP guidelines are met and adhered to throughout the proposals process. Working closely with Tundras Recruitment Team to evaluate potential resumes to be utilized in bid responses. Enforcing and adhering to a thorough Quality Assurance (QA) procedure to guarantee that all proposal submissions comply with Tundras established standard of quality. Evaluating current trends, competitive activity, economic factors, and changes in market trends. Who You Are Minimum of 5 years experience in positions where proposal writing and bid response were the core function of the role, with a demonstrated track record of success. Minimum of 2 years of experience working on RFPs for the Federal Government of Canada. Thorough understanding of Federal Government supply vehicles such as Pro Services, TSPS, TBIPS, and THS. Demonstrated experience as a thoughtful and collaborative individual capable of working with multidisciplinary teams and aligning them with the objectives and action plans required for successful bid responses. Must demonstrate significant experience and a proven track record of success in terms of proposal win ratio. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an emphasis on working effectively with diverse teams. Commitment to continuous improvement, staying updated on industry best practices, and implementing enhancements to the proposal development process. Asset Qualifications Bilingual (English/French) in both writing and speaking. High level of French in order to respond to French RFPs. Experience with PI Prime gridding and resume tool. Possession of relevant certifications such as APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) or other industry-specific certifications. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage and track interactions with clients and stakeholders. The salary range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
