A leading industrial manufacturing organization is looking to appoint a Corporate Environmental Manager for their global facilities. The Corporate Environmental Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental programs across all forms of environmental media and interfacing with regulatory agencies. The incumbent will track EU, federal and provincial regulatory developments and provide technical/regulatory support to operations in United States, Canada and France to ensure regulatory changes are fully implemented. This role can be remote based from anywhere in the US or Canada. The role: Oversee the facility''''s wastewater, groundwater, stormwater, air quality, and solid/hazardous waste management programs Maintain and analyze data to improve environmental compliance and implement new environmental initiatives, in partnership with other departments Ensure compliance with all state and federal and international regulations Lead strategic environmental permitting projects for company operations. Engage in project teams to support environmental engineering and performance improvement projects. The candidate: MUST be bilingual (English/ French) 7+ years of environmental experience in heavy manufacturing Bachelor''''s degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or related field Well-rounded experience across air, water and waste Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels
