As the third member of our M&A team, you would be asked to wear many hats and will gain exposure to the full M&A process. The Analyst will play a crucial role in executing deals, supporting strategic decision-making, and building a leading industry consolidator. The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance, accounting, and/or audit, looking to transition into private equity and drive direct value creation through their work. Key Responsibilities: Financial Modeling and Analysis: Build, refine, and update three-statement financial models, sensitivity analysis, and valuation metrics for acquisition targets and current portfolio holdings. Manage an ever-growing, consolidated holding company model for M&A deal execution, lending requirements, and board of directors meetings. Transaction Execution : Support the team with all aspects of transaction execution, including preparing presentations and investment memos. Help coordinate the transaction process, working closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure smooth execution of all deal stages, from initial outreach to final closing documents. Due Diligence: Assist in collecting and organizing key data for due diligence, including financial statements, contracts, operational reports, and market analysis. Analyze financial performance by reviewing and reconciling the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement. Normalize historical performance by adjusting non-recurring revenues and expenses. Market Research & Analysis : Conduct research on potential acquisition targets and industry trends, providing insights to guide decision-making. Reach out to potential targets in the market, initiating contact and gauging interest in a potential sale. Represent: Act as the representative and extension of AYCE Capitals M&A team in interactions with Internal and External parties. Qualifications: Experience and Knowledge: 2 to 3 years of transaction advisory experience is preferred; accounting/audit experience is also valuable. New graduates, with a strong financial understanding and relevant internship experience, are welcome to apply. A strong working knowledge of Excel is a major asset. The position may occasionally require work outside of standard office hours, including evenings or weekends to meet project deadlines or business needs. Communication : Ability to professionally facilitate meetings and tailor communication appropriately to the audience, including business owners, executives, lenders, and third-party advisors. Independence: Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills without constant management or supervision. Adaptability: Comfortable in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment, capable of responding effectively to shifting priorities and working with and interpreting disorganized and/or non-standardized data. Diligence: A high attention to detail and conscientiousness. An ability to precisely follow directions in a timely manner.
