Location: Remote Position Type: Full-time Job Summary: Telna is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Market Research and Commercial Insights to lead our market research initiatives and commercial strategy development. In this role, you will drive growth by leveraging data-driven insights, optimizing market segmentation, and shaping Go-to-Market strategies, and optimizing revenue generation. Your insights will directly influence key business decisions, and your strategic leadership will play a vital role in shaping Telnas market position and driving sustainable growth. Proficiency in HubSpot is essential for managing and optimizing our CRM and lead generation efforts. Key Responsibilities: Market Research Leadership: Lead Telnas market research initiatives to identify and prioritize high-value market segments. Develop deep insights into these segments to align them with our unique value propositions, ensuring targeted and effective market penetration. Design and implement comprehensive research strategies to gather and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data. Use these insights to drive strategic decisions and optimize both inbound and outbound lead generation efforts. Continuously adopt and apply innovative research methodologies and tools. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain cutting-edge research capabilities. Commercial Insights and Strategy: Translate research findings into prescriptive commercial insights that inform Go-to-Market strategies and optimize revenue generation. Develop and present business cases for resource allocation, market entry strategies, and commercial initiatives. Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure insights are effectively integrated into execution plans. Team Management and Development: Lead and mentor a team of Market Research Analysts, Data Analysts, and CRM Owners, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Build and manage a high-performing team, ensuring continuous improvement in research methodologies and commercial insights. HubSpot CRM Management: Utilize HubSpot to manage and optimize CRM processes, ensuring accurate data tracking, effective lead management, and clear pipeline visibility. Drive the adoption and effective use of HubSpot across the team, ensuring seamless integration with commercial strategies and operations. Leverage HubSpot analytics to generate insights and drive decision-making across sales and marketing initiatives. Executive Reporting and Collaboration: Prepare and present detailed market research reports and commercial insights to Telnas C-level executives, supporting strategic decision-making. Collaborate with senior management to align research and commercial strategies with Telnas broader business goals. Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify market trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and emerging opportunities. Refine Telnas positioning to enhance competitive advantage. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred. Experience: 10+ years of experience in Market Research, Commercial Insights, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving strategic growth. Experience in the Telco industry is advantageous. Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams including experience in mentoring and guiding team members to achieve strategic goals. Extensive experience in utilizing HubSpot for CRM management and lead generation. Familiarity with other CRM platforms is a plus. Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, market research, and commercial strategy development. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Skills: Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and business drivers. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with experience in driving a culture of innovation and performance. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to senior executives and stakeholders. Proficiency in HubSpot, with a focus on CRM optimization and analytics. Knowledge of additional tools and technologies relevant to market research and CRM is a plus.
