We have an open position for a Customer Service Manager at AeroTek Manufacturing Ltd., a worldwide aerospace metal coatings provider in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. Requirements: College or University education preferred (An understanding of chemistry would be an asset) Ability to use Microsoft products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc. Fluent in English, excellent communication & writing skills Interest in working in a fast-paced, aerospace manufacturing environment IMPORTANT: The successful candidate must have a flexible attitude to fit the demands of a small business, wherein all employees are expected to support their fellow workmates by helping each other out and carry out tasks not specifically included in their individual job descriptions when asked by senior management, from time to time, in order to maintain operational efficiency during times of staff illnesses or absences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Customer Service 1.Manage and develop appropriate systems for customer account management. 2.Work with VP/GM on scheduling and relating Customer Order data to customers, confirming orders and supplying relevant forms as required. This will entail working with Operations to validate delivery dates and the status of orders. Verify orders with Production Control and deal directly with customers to correct any errors found. 4.Monitor completion of Purchase Requisitions for Outside Processing sub-contractors and manage the pickup and delivery truck schedule. 5.Manage shipping documentation in conjunction with Shipping. 6.Develop and monitor customer feedback system on a continuous basis to ensure optimization and improvement of service, delivering customer satisfaction. 7.Monitor service performance monthly against expected service standards. 8.Maintain work ticket and quote filing systems. 9.Liaise with VP/GM, Director of Operations, and Quality Manager to ensure responsible and customer-focused service, delivery and communications. 10.Maintain Customer Service performance by assessing customer views. 11.Maintain positive and supportive relationships with customers. Website & Social Media & Corporate Communications Materials 12.Maintain corporate website & LinkedIn presence to ensure up-to-date information online; liaising with Executive Management to draft news releases as required and ensure proper distribution of the same; assisting in any website redevelopment as required by Executive Management. 13.Maintaining up-to-date Corporate Communications Materials including Corporate Brochure 14.Sourcing any third-party communications provider, as required. 15.Other duties as required.
