Our client is a successful and profitable automotive parts manufacturer, and due to growth they are searching for a Materials Inventory Analyst who will be responsible for managing and monitoring all raw materials and inventory. Abbreviated Responsibilities: Responsible for inventory management including optimization of inventory levels on the floor for a JIT environment Responsible for ensuring that cycle counts are done daily onsite and submitted for approval and cycle counts at the suppliers are done on a regular basis Responsible for ensuring the integrity of inventory listed in CMI, Responsible for resolving any reported negative inventory listings of purchased items and ensures that, in coordination with production that the finished good inventory is accurate. Issues Corrective Action requests and obtains CAs as required when errors are encountered Expedites purchased components, packaging items and subcontracted items to support production requirements Reviews and audits supplier releases on a daily basis Ensures that all materials are on time (none early, none late) with the correct quantities to support production and ensures timely delivery to our customer. Responsible for all required liaison (written, verbal or on-site) with suppliers Coordinates freight to suppliers (inbound/outbound) Reports problems which may affect production immediately Follows up with the supplier and receiving department ensuring that the supplier has enough packaging to support our deliveries Evaluates/maintains supplier delivery performance Initiates via Buyers, supplier debit/credit notes for shipment discrepancies, excess freight charges Completes inventory analysis to ensure the accuracy Reviews the accuracy of BOMs and take steps to correct as needed Creates action plans and corrective actions for any inventory discrepancies Identified areas of opportunity with regards to inventory accuracies and as needed standardizes processes or procedures to ensure accuracy moving forward Leads material and inventory requirements to ensure compliance Assist in updating graphs and analysis for meeting Maintains responsibility for departmental Continual Improvement at all times Acts as backup within the Inventory Group whenever required Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001 Maintain 5S standards in working environment Attende training Performs other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management Your Profile: College Diploma in Supply Chain/Materials Management or equivalent Minimum 3 years related experience in automotive manufacturing environment Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) Excellent analytical skills Experience with MRP / ERP scheduling. Experience with Bills of Material Kanban experience and lean manufacturing exposure Valid Class G Drivers License Familiarity with CMI / TRANS4M software Knowledge of supplier qualification standards (TS-16949, QS-9000, ISO-14001) Knowledge of Import / Export procedures and Customs regulations If you have the required experience and are ready for a career progressive opportunity, please respond with resume to .
