We are located in Markham with a modern facility and are currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and resourceful Technical Sales Engineer. Key Job Responsibilities Pre-sales and post-sales activities, maintaining close technical communication with the customer throughout the sales cycle. Research potential clients to maximize the effectiveness of the sales process. Actively develop new sales opportunities through a variety of different marketing channels. Analyze target markets and identify a prospective business, initiate sales with prospects. Assist marketing activities including writing technical articles, newsletters, and case studies. Provide technical sales presentations, product training, and technical support to customers. Work closely with our engineering team to offer customized solutions and quotations to customers. Drive revenue goals with excellent customer satisfaction and experience. Qualifications Degree in engineering or technical discipline and experience in technical sales Ability and willingness to travel (1-2 conferences in the US and 1 in Europe) Sales minded, enthusiastic, full of energy and highly flexible. A motivated self-starter who is also a great team player. Understanding of target markets, industry, critical projects, and clients. Have the ability to convert a clients requirement into suitable business processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
