Your role: Operate forklift, consistently practicing safe operating habits to load and unload vehicles, transport material, and prepare loads for delivery Perform routine and regular preventative maintenance of vehicle, including advising supervisor of required repairs. Complete forklift inspection sheet daily Prepare orders for delivery including identifying, locating and securing material as per shipping memo and completing paperwork Build and arrange customer orders and load onto vehicle giving consideration to safety/security of load, minimizing potential for damage in transport, order of use by customer, and routing of vehicle Follow safe work practises, health and safety policy and procedures Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly What we''''re looking for: Knowledge of wood types/grades and familiarity with seasonal products and storage/damage handling procedures Valid reach truck certificate Prior shipping, receiving, and loading experience is an asset Good verbal and written communication skills If selected for an interview, please advise our Store team if you require accommodation during the interview and assessment process and we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs.
